I am not a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. I base my rating on two things: the amazingly beautiful, gothic style building whose construction was underwritten by the Coleman family in 1880 and built of local stone by British stone masons, and their fine music and choral program. The organist for many years is the wonderful Dr. Terry Heisey who is very talented. Be sure to attend the vespers services and concerts - you will enjoy it! The choral pieces they present are varied and well done. Also, the stained glass throughout the building is wonderful and of different styles. There is also a magnificent Tiffany window as well. St. Luke's is a local treasure.
